Vintage original lithograph by Mary Chenoweth. Image of abstracted birds flying using an overlaying of various textures of paint and pigment. Signed and numbered by the artist in the lower margin. Presented in a custom wood frame with archival mat and UV70 protectant glass, outer dimensions measure 34 ¼ x 27 ¼ x 1 ½ inches. Image size is 24 ¼ x 18 ¼ inches (sight).

Artist Biography - Mary Chenoweth (1918-1999)
Graduated from Denver University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1950. While at Denver University, she studied under Vance Kirkland. Chenoweth went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois. Following her return to Colorado, she taught at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (formerly the Broadmoor Academy). Chenoweth later joined the faculty at Colorado College where she served as an art professor for three decades. Chenoweth worked in a variety of mediums including sculpture, painting, drawing and printmaking. She carved a set of doors for the Colorado College Bemis Art School.
