Artist Biography - Verna Jean Versa (1926-2005)
After several years at the Detroit Institute of Arts, Versa continued her studies at the Broadmoor Art Academy (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center) between 1943 and 1948. During this time, she also attended Colorado College. She went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1951.
She taught in Cincinnati and also in Colorado Springs at Horace Mann Junior High (1959-1963.)
