Beaded Hide Doll, circa 1890

A female doll form created around 1890 by a Native American (Plains Indian) woman. Constructed of native tanned hide and sewn with sinew, the doll is wearing a traditional plains beaded dress, moccasins and leggings with two horse hair braids.
