Native American Art - Plateau

The Northwest Plateau Culture Area lies between the Cascade Range and Canadian Coast Ranges on the west to the Rocky Mountains on the east and includes portions of present day states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho & Montana as well as British Columbia.  Native American Indian tribes associated with the Plateau region include the Nez Perce, Plateau, Umatilla, Wasco, Yakima, and Cayuse.
